Attention students in the Class of 2025 and Class of 2026:
Student parking on the Stoughton High School campus is by a valid numbered tag only. Parking tags cost $60. Space is limited, and priority will be given first to seniors and then to juniors. Please read the information below carefully.
Between June 1st and August 16th, all students registered as Grade 12 who wish to park on campus, should submit a Parking Registration Form and a copy of their valid driver’s license to the main office. A lottery for parking spots will be held on August 19, 2024 for all those registered as Grade 12. Grade 12 students will have until August 23, 2024 to pay for their spot received during the lottery ($60). Failure to pay by August 23, 2024 will result in the loss of the spot.
Between June 1st and August 23rd, all students registered as Grade 11, who wish to park on campus, should submit a Parking Registration Form and a copy of their valid driver’s license. A lottery for parking spots will be held on August 26, 2024 for all those registered as Grade 11. Grade 11 students, who receive a parking spot, must pay for the spot ($60) by August 30, 2024 in order to hold their spot. Failure to pay by August 30, 2024 will result in the loss of the spot.
The parking lots surrounding the high school are reserved for faculty only. All student parking is located at the shared upper parking lot between the SHS and the OMS. Students with tags who park in non-designated areas will be assigned a 2-hour session on the first offense. Each offense thereafter will result in a 2-hour session as well as a $25 fine. Students without tags parking in non-designated areas will be assigned a 2-hour session and receive a $25 fine for each offense. Chronic offenders will be towed at the owner’s expense. Parking tags are only valid for students who are in good standing.
The parking application can be found here. Only completed forms with a copy of the student's valid driving license (or proof of passed driving license road test) will be accepted. Copies of learner's permits are not valid for parking applications. The $60 fee will be collected when the parking spot has been issued (in August).
