Spring Author Series
The Stoughton Public Schools Spring Author Series resumes TONIGHT, Monday, May 13 from 5-6pm when Monica Acker comes to the Gibbons School (235 Morton St.). To learn more about Monica Acker, click here. For more information and to see a complete schedule for the Spring Author Series, click here.

OMS & SHS Spring Concerts
It is a busy week for spring concerts for O’Donnell Middle School and Stoughton High music students!
The OMS Spring Band Concert is this Tuesday, May 14
The OMS Spring Choir Concert is this Thursday, May 16
The SHS Spring Choral Concert is this Friday, May 17
All concerts are free of charge and start at 7pm in the SHS Auditorium.
Virtual Meeting for Families with Dr. Baeta
Dr. Baeta will be available for a virtual meeting with SPS families on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 from 12:30-1:30pm. Use this link to join: bit.ly/DrBOfficeHours.

Multicultural Night at the Gibbons on Thursday
There will be a Multicultural Night at the Gibbons School (235 Morton St.) this Thursday, May 16 from 6-7:30pm. This event is open to all SPS families. To find out more, and how you can participate (we are looking for families to sign up and run a booth, run an activity, or volunteer), click here.
Save the Date - New Elementary School Building Project Community Forum
The next community forum about the new elementary school building project will be Tuesday, May 21, 2024.
There will be a virtual forum at noon via Zoom. Click here to register for the virtual forum.
There will be an in-person forum at 6:30pm at the South Elementary School, 171 Ash St. Tours of the current South School building will be provided following the presentation and question and answer session at the in-person forum.
Bus Registration Starts May 20th
Attention Stoughton Public Schools families looking for bus transportation for the 2024-2025 school year: The registration period for bus transportation for 2024-2025 will open Monday, May 20, 2024 and run through Friday, June 28, 2024. Please keep in mind that no applications will be accepted after June 28 and there will not be a waiting list. Once again, there is no cost to families to ride the bus next year. Bus transportation is available for students in grades K-12, but there are limited seats. Students will be placed on the bus in the order the applications are received. The registration form will be available on the PowerSchool Parent Portal starting May 20. Families will need to complete and submit an application for each child who will be riding the bus. An email will be sent to families this week with instructions on registration. If you have any questions, please send them to Transportation@stoughtonschools.org.
Registration for Next School Year (2024-2025)
Attention families with students entering preschool or kindergarten in September, or with a student entering grades 1-12 who did not attend the Stoughton Public Schools this school year: The Stoughton Public Schools online pre-registration portal for next school year (2024-2025 school year) is now open. Please visit our Central Registration Office website for more information about the pre-registration process.
