ACT (American College Test)

You can register online on the ACT website. Our School Code for registering for ACT is: 222075.

The ACT (American College Test) is accepted by every college that requires standardized testing. The ACT is 3 hours, 25 minutes long including the 30-minute optional writing test. It has four test sections (5 with the optional essay): English, Math, Reading, and Science. The total composite score is from 1-36, based on an average of the four tests. There is no penalty for wrong answers. If you take the test more than one time, you decide which score you would like sent to all of the colleges to which you are applying this fall.

You should take the ACT at least one time during your junior year. After you see your scores, you can decide whether to take them again that year or in the fall of senior year.

**Remember, you can check the FairTest website for a list of colleges and universities who do not require standardized test scores for admission.
